My female friend kept telling me it’s easier to take metro (train) to go to amsterdam rather than drive there. So, this afternoon we decided to give it a try… But the silly thing is that we forgot to check the weather forecast. So when we reach there it was raining… Luckily as Indonesian I always believe in “sedia payung sebelum hujan”… which means “ready for an umbrella before it’s raining”… (well, more or less )… So.. yes, we’re blessed for not getting wet by the rain and can enjoy the day there… eating, shopping, exploring… because to be honest… even though we’ve been here in holland for almost 3years but we seldom really explore amsterdam… so if people asked for recommendation of places to visit or restaurant to eat we will only know few of them. And just now we made a wrong turn and go into red light district area… while we looked for a way to get out of there, I was busy covering my eldest son eyes so he will not see all “those things or peoples” ha ha ha… but beside the rain and little bit of lost we’re having fun and so does the kids… chasing the pigeon, ate unhealthy creamy cakes and fatty roasted duck…

And now is time to tuck them in to bed… the difficulty now is because it’s spring.. the sky still very bright until 9-10pm… But well, they have to sleep on time… otherwise it will be difficult to wake them up on time for school in the morning…
